Who operates Dietune

Who can create an account
Registration is limited to United States residents who are at least 18 years old. Provide accurate registration information, keep your password private and use only accounts you are authorized to access. Email verification is required to sign in.
What early access includes
Early accounts are free. You can read project notifications, manage optional email updates and account security, browse informational previews and USDA food records, and submit project feedback or suggestions. Most planned nutrition tools are unavailable. Preview descriptions explain intentions, not a commitment to a launch date or a particular result. Features and appearance may change, and later services may require additional information or separate terms.
Food information and health decisions
Dietune's early site is informational. It does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, establish nutrient deficiencies or measure what remains in your body. It does not guarantee improved mental or physical performance. USDA records and other food information may be incomplete, outdated or different from the food you eat. Missing values are unknown, not zero. Check product labels, allergens and cross-contact for yourself. Do not change medications or make medical decisions based on previews or food-search results; consult a qualified professional.
Acceptable use and suggestions
Do not submit unlawful or harmful material, impersonate others, attempt unauthorized access, send spam or manipulate feedback results. Rate limits may restrict shared connections. We may restrict accounts that misuse the service. Send only suggestions you have the right to share, and do not include passwords or private health information. We may consider your ideas without committing to implement them or pay for them.
Optional Patreon support
Patreon support is optional and separate from Dietune registration and any future website subscription. It supports development and does not unlock restricted tools, guarantee a launch date or purchase a future Dietune subscription. Patreon handles its own memberships and billing under its terms. A recurring support membership continues according to the billing terms shown at checkout until canceled. Closing a Dietune account does not cancel a Patreon membership; manage that membership through Patreon.
Account closure and changes
You can close your account through Security using your current password and explicit confirmation. Deletion is automated for accounts without unresolved billing, subject to the distinctions in the Privacy notice for shared contributions, audit records, backups and correspondence. Contact support for account help. We will describe material changes to these terms through the site and appropriate notices before applying them. No statement here limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
